7. After his work with Mahavishnu Orchestra, Cobham nonchalantly entered the studio and produced the No. 1 Billboard magazine Jazz Album, "Spectrum". Featuring the out of the solar system guitar work of Tommy Bolin and fusion Moog king Jan Hammer, it set Cobham up for a good ride through the mid 70's with some similar fusion jazz releases and others trending towards the funky side/5(17).
